Beauty

Beautifully Imperfect

Hello! I hope you all are doing well and if not, please feel free to message me! Please keep in mind that I am not a therapist or a licensed counselor. I am a girl that wants to remind others that they aren’t alone and they can freely talk to me whenever they want/need to!

I wanted to discuss beauty and the meaning of it. I know that a lot of us feel that in order to be “pretty” we must be at a certain weight, height, and etc. But I think what makes you beautiful is your personality and the way you treat others. We get so caught up in the idea of how others may see us so we change our appearance and the way we act. Or… We at least try to. With that being said, people develop eating disorders or a low self-esteem; and this increases the chances for depression and anxiety. Always having those “Am I pretty enough?” Or “Will they love me if I weigh this amount?” kind of thoughts. I wish you could see that you are gorgeous for who you are. You don’t have to fit into societies standards of beauty. You don’t have to be at any type of weight. You don’t have to change your hair or the way you look… But, if you really want to, you can! I’m just saying that you don’t have to do those things in order to be beautiful. Why? Because you already are.

Your dearest friend,

Kirsten♥️
